On the occasion of the month of International Women's Day, De Passage features monumental portraits of women from Amsterdam-West who have been making a difference in their neighborhood for generations. Strijdbare Vrouwen in Amsterdam West- De Stad in Haar Handen is a tribute to their commitment, strength and commitment.

Er gebeurt iets moois bij jou om de hoek. Van moestuinen tot weggeefwinkels, van sociale restaurants tot reparatiecafés: overal in Amsterdam bouwen bewoners aan plekken waar ontmoeting ,​​zorg voor elkaar en voor de leefomgeving hand in hand gaan. Op 16 april organiseert KunstenDialoog een verdiepend en interactief gesprek naar aanleiding van Remembering Otherwise van belit sağ. Samen met betrokken professionals en ervaringsdeskundigen verkennen we thema’s als vrouwenrechten, toegang tot het recht, arbeidsstrijd, discriminatie en solidariteit – toen en nu. Wat betekent dat voor hoe we vandaag kijken naar vrouwenrechten, arbeidsrechten en rechtvaardigheid?
