Every Wednesday afternoon, De Passage becomes a place for young makers and dreamers. There are creative activities for kids such as crafts, storytelling and puppet shows – all free and without registration.
New from October 2025:
Creative kids’ workshops by Motherhood Amsterdam. Between 13:00 and 15:00, De Passage transforms into a world of imagination, recycled art and adventure. Children aged 5 and up can create their own artwork from recycled materials.

In addition, De FilmHallen regularly screens children’s films, and at OBA De Hallen you can read together or draw at the reading table. A few times a year, there’s also a toy exchange festival – sustainable, fun and perfect for the whole family.
For a family-friendly break, visit Café Belcampo in the OBA for a toasted sandwich or fresh juice, or one of the other cafés and restaurants in De Hallen.
