The Tobias van der Pijl Trio returns!
This Amsterdam trio plays original compositions by guitarist and band leader Tobias van der Pijl, Dennis Levin on double bass and Erik Köhl on drums. Their music is an energetic mix of jazz, Latin and classical influences, stemming from his broad musical background. The result is a versatile and compelling repertoire that sounds both recognisable and innovative. The trio's sources of inspiration include Tom Ollendorff, Djavan and Kurt Rosenwinkel, which gives their music a fresh, contemporary touch.
