We're going to play, share, trade and recycle again. March 14, you're welcome to share your forgotten stuffed animals and completed games. Did you know that last year we exchanged more than 50,000 items with 15,000 families? And we plan to break this record again this year, will you participate?

Please note that new this year is that you need a ticket, you can order it online. We ask for a small contribution to exchange, but if that is an obstacle for your family, free tickets are also available.

Your contribution allows us to continue to organize these ever-growing swaps and, of course, provide fun extras, such as the recycle workshops.

Come and trade your pre-loved toys and kids' clothes for “new” items. Every edition, around 10,000 toys find a new home here. There are also workshops and other inspiring activities about recycling, sharing and repairing.

How it works

Registration

Participation is free of charge, but registration is required via a free ticket (see ticket link).

Toys and children's clothing

Bring a maximum of 7 toys and 5 pieces of children's clothing. Attention! Make sure everything is clean, complete, and whole. Do you expect to find cool stuff? So bring super cool items for someone else. This way, we keep the exchange fun and interesting for everyone.

Tokens

For each item we take, you get a token. If it's something really special, you might get 2 or 3. Baby toys are always plentiful. Do not take this with you in large numbers. Day 2, we often even stop for baby toy input.

Tables

We place the toys in the correct category. Think of a table full of games, costumes, a table full of books, construction toys, outdoor toys, cars, dolls and stuffed animals. Found anything? Trade it with your tokens with our volunteers.

What remains

What is not exchanged, we visit community centers and stay home, among other things. But given the quantities, we are still looking for destinations, especially for baby toys. Do you know a good spot? Mail us: motherhood.amsterdam@gmail.com
