Food Film Festival 2025
Six impressive films about today's global food system
Mark your calendar! We are proud to announce that Food Other in co-production with Hall West and together with the Food Council MRA and Amsterdam Food Park this year, from November 10 to December 9, the fifth edition of the Film Food Festival (FFF) is organizing in Amsterdam. This year, the festival promises to be more impactful than ever, with a sharper focus on the future of our food system.
The industrial food system is reaching its limits: the soil is depleted due to intensive use, pesticides are becoming less effective while causing damage, and the welfare of people, animals and farmers is under pressure. These issues show how vulnerable the current system is and highlight the need for change.
The FFF challenges politicians and all of us as citizens to structurally place food on the agenda of major cities. If Hall West together with the various partners, we are very much in favour of this, because the future of our food system starts with the choices we make today, the stories we tell and the seeds we cherish.
In the period of one month, six impressive documentaries and films about the global food system will be shown, namely:
SIX INCHES OF SOIL (November 10)
THE LAST SEED (November 13)
NEW PIGS ON THE BLOCK (November 20)
OUTGROW THE SYSTEM (November 25)
LANDGRABBED (December 2)
FEEDING TOMORROW (December 9)
