Strengthen your ink by listening to others. An event organized for and by songwriters to open the doors to that studio magic. This evening creativity, music and meeting new people will collide and give you new inspiration to create.
How often do I wonder what magic goes on in other artist’s studio session? Well, a lot. I, GINGE, have been making music for quite some years now and started teaching songwriting more and more over the years. I found there’s a gap between workshops where you build your song and what actually takes place in writing sessions. Call it magic, hard work, talent, luck or some kind of supernatural thing – I feel like we could bridge that gap. PENGAME is an event for songwriters from all levels, even if you’re just starting out. The idea? I invite three artists/songwriters that will bring a short practical writing challenge from their own practices. There will also be short performances of unfinished songs and a chance to network with your fellow writers. Expect to write, listen, exchange and be open to explore the borders of your comfortzone. This edition we will be joined by Yael Daila, FENNE and Hatoon.
